Ok, I'm basically done building my computer, I'm using an Asus P5Q SE/R Mobo and a Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 (Crossfire Ready) Video card.
So my question are as follow.
1. Does my motherboard support crossfire?
2. (If so) How hard core of gaming would be needed to recommend me using Crossfire?
3. (If so) My mobo only has one PCI-E x16 slot from ...

And now Im even more uncomfortable than when I began. So Ill leave it up to yall. Heres what Ive considered so far. This computer is going to ...

So I disappeared from the egg for a while again. I've been majorly distracted.
By what, you ask? (Or maybe not) I just started playing World of Warcraft a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it. I know I'm coming in a bit later than most, but I have this thing where I think once you pay for a game, that should be it. I ...

Which is the best for the money and which will do better? Looking to couple one of these with a 750i FTW mobo, anybody have any ideas? Might want to SLI in the future so which one will be better? I'll probably only use this for 1680 x 1050 resolution...Don't suggest any overclock versions of cards because I plan to overclock ...

This is going to be my first rig I build from scratch and from reading a few dozen forum posts about the mb not working I thought it would be best to ask. I have a moderate understanding of computers from fixing comps, moding some, and upgrading. I'm looking at:
Ram:
OCZ NVIDIA SLI-Ready Edition 4GB 2x2gb DDR3 SDRAM pc3 14400 model ...

I am considering buying a laptop. One that I can use for college (but mostly for gaming ). The computer I have decided on at Newegg.com (see link below) has a 91% rating. The only thing im worried about is that it comes with Vista 32bit, which will only use 3 gbs or ram when it has 4. I was curious about how to upgrade it to 64bit. I want this ...

I'm currently using two 17'' monitors on my aging machine and will be building a gaming box soon. The two 17'' monitors are not ideal for gaming, so I was considering purchasing a 28'' monitor and sticking it in between the two 17's. Can I use this machine in two modes somehow?
Mode 1 (work):
Linux, 3 monitors driven by 2 Nvidia ...

I bought the digital download copy of Call of Duty 4 from Newegg. Downloaded it, installed it and played it. Fine.

Hey everyone! I'm not really ''new'' here, but I haven't posted on the forum since I joined. I'm sure some of you know me from the Egg's chat channel. I finally felt like taking a dive in to this forum, so here I am!
Anyways, I also posted for another reason, I wanted to know if anyone else who lives in the Tr-State area was up for going to ...

Hello everyone!
Ok, my friend is in need of a budget gamer computer less than $500. He wants a gaming computer that will be just as good as mine, on a budget. He wants it to be good enough to run all the new games. NOT on maximum settings but where he will have a beautiful gaming experience without any issues.
