  • Problem with computer (when I try to turn it on)

Hi everyone, hopefully someone out there has had a related problem or something. Well, today when I turned on my computer (built it from scratch and it's been working fine with Vista Ultimate 32-bit) and it flashed, all the lights did, but then immediately shut off. After an hour of testing it, I realized it would only turn on if I had the ...

  • Cheap, stylish, mid-ATX case?

Could anyone recommend a cheap, stylish, mid ATX case? I was looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156043 case because it came with a mouse and keyboard, but I saw a pic of the PSU and it only had one SATA power connector, and I'll have two SATA devices. These things are delicate and if handled without care, ...

  • Vista Home Premium 64 frozen on setup

As a precaution, this is my first build.  I would love to assume that as I've gotten through most of the setup for Vista, I have put everything together correctly.  I've read just about everything there is in the BIOS, and as far as I can tell, I'm good.    When I installed Vista the first time, most of ...

  • Building a Lego computer case.

I've been working on it for a few hours now, and I just ran into something I've never dealt with in the past.  The motherboard tray, which I don't have, for obvious reasons.  Does it have to be metal?  The reason I ask is because I got to looking at the bottom of the board, and notice all sorts of prickly c**p stick out.  ...

  • Compatibility and Performance (Reply Requested)

I'm almost sure that this is all right, for now. I have a CoolerMaster Stacker (11 bays) case, and another PSU that's 250W (I can use dual PSU's in the CM Stacker, so the 250W would be dedicated to *something* -- or maybe it's just too weak). Nevermind that, I noticed I have 2 850W PSU's in the list. Anyhow, here's the list that I'm wanting to get ...
