I just received my new laptop with this MLK and am having trouble activating the Office software.  When I enter the product key I am told it is incorrect.  I activated the trial version without a problem.  Any ideas?

I use Cobian 8 (black moon).  I just realized there is a new version 9, but it is not open source.  Cobian found another person to take over when he left on sabbatical so things have changed....but 8 will do what you want.  It is powerful, reliable and FREE.  Give 9 a whirl...I will when I have time.

I'm thinking seriously about buying an ASUS eee PC 900 or 901.  The people at ASUS tell me I can upgrade the memory to 2GB but I only see 1GB machines listed.  Is this strictly a do-it-yourself job or can you order them with 2GB?   Also, for anyone who owns a LINUX version, any words of wisdom on the openoffice software?  ...

I purchased a Sony DVD burner 8 months ago, and now it's broken. At first it recognized DVD's for what they were, but now the show up as CD's. I checked for new drivers and updates, but there were none. I also tried to reinstall the current drivers, but it didn't fix the problem. Is the problem in the Software or hardware? Please Help.
