The new pc I just built seems to be having a malfunction. So far everything I have tried to resolve the problem isn't working. I just need to know what I may be overlooking with everything I have tired. Here is what lead up to this problem happening. The day I built it everything went fine. All the parts installed with no problems, the only slight ...

I'm sure we would all like to see a great deal on the ASUS Eee PC Netbooks, especially the:
* * * * * ASUS Eee PC 1000H 160G (Fine Ebony) Model * * * * *
* * * * Item Number: N82E16834220431 * * * *
They are already at an attractive price, however I cannot afford it being a college student with a car loan on a recently purchased new ...

I currently have an M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition motherboard in my computer, and I'm going to use one of the same to build another computer. I have purchased two Seagate 2700.10 250GB SATA HDD's and I would like to put them in RAID 0. Since I have the same board, I looked around in my BIOS (the other computer is still a work in progress) ...

I am a newbie to eggxpert (meaning I am no expert at all in matters of building things). I was wondering if there were any tips regarding setting up a RAID 5 server?
Here is the background. I have a Buffalo 160GB NAS device attached to my ancient (Linksys) router. It has performed quite well but the USB drive (500GB) that I had attached to ...

I bought an ASUS M3A78-EM AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail and it arrived DOA. I am just making sure that it is compatible with my processor which is a AMD Phenom 8450 Toliman 2.1GHz Socket AM2+ 95W Triple-Core Processor Model HD8450WCGHBOX - Retail. This is my first build, so I am not 100% sure what I am doing, but ...

So I bought 2 pcs worth of equipment. Both exactly identical but in different cases. One installed no problem. I got both Windows XP and Vista installed without a problem. The other keeps crashing in the middle of the OS install, either Vista or XP. I took the HDD out of it and put in the HDD from the other PC with ...

I built a new computer a couple months ago and the MB has already crashed. I could send it back to Intel, but I would rather just get a new one. I was using a Intel BOXDX48BT2 LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX DDR3 Intel Motherboard I am thinking about getting the ASUS P5Q3 LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard but cannot find many reviews.
Current ...

Hello.
I would like to get the ASUS F6V-X1 from newegg, but a program I use doesn't play well with vista. I know that some ASUS laptops ship with an xp recovery disc with a pre-built xp image. I can't see from the picture on the newegg site if this disc is included. Has anyone here purchased this model before?
Thanks,
Bryan.

Does anybody know if the M3A79-T Deluxe MOBO with 790FX and current BIOS will support AMD 9950 Quad-core? I see that the M3A79-T MOBO with the 790GX does. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Hello; I am looking for a new laptop to replace my 4 year old 15.4 pentium. This will be my main work, home, entertainment device and I was thinking to upgrading to a larger screen; I believe I can get around the 7 lb. weight area and still be mobile. I don't play the heavy games; mostly puzzle, occassional RPG, and expect to watch movies on ...

Found this article about the ASUS EEE PC... Watch out if you've recently ordered one (and you live in Japan)!
''It turns out ASUS may be dishing out its various Eee PC models a little too quickly for its own good, as the Taiwan-based manufacturer has today confirmed that Eee Box units shipped to ...

If you cannot flash from within Windows (and I don't think your motherboard supports this) then you must either buy a external floppy drive (USB), or a flash drive, or install an internal floppy drive, or flash off a bootable DVD/CD. I recommend any of the three previous, but if you won't shell out any money for it, here is a bootable CD ...

Man, I've been having nothing but problems with this board - and now this? Once I worked out all the problems outlined in this thread, I had a functioning computer and it was really nice - at least, until my new SATA DVD-Burner showed up.
I popped out the IDE cable and put in the new drive and, as I always do when I add new hardware, I ...
