    BIOS Checksum error

The error I get says something similar to this.

    BIOS Checksum Error

    Keyboard error or no keyboard

    Searching for IDE device

    None found

    Booting from floppy

    No floppy detected. System Halt.

All right I've gotten this before, but I fixed it by removing and then putting back in the CMOS battery. I tried it this time, and did not work, anyone have any ideas? Before anyone says something like "Disable floppy, etc"  This is the only screen I get, I can't access settings. Any ideas?

Try a PS2 keyboard, rather than a USB one.

Also if any IDE drives, make sure the jumpers are set correctly. And unplug any USB devices.

    Re: BIOS Checksum error

Check your motherboard user manual for instructions on how to flash your BIOS.  Every time I've run into a checksum error, that's what I've had to do to fix it.
