Two Things those Cards are huge. you should pick -up a better case, And the PSU you should look at this

That was the wrong Link.... the HEC is a not so hot PSU, and the BFG is Quieter, and a better unit over the long haul.

As far as Cases are concerned, they are a personal matter as far as looks

You want one that is 22" or so deep from front face to rear...that will give you enough room for your Card. and not bother your hard drives

Silverstone, Thermaltake, and Coolermaster are all good brands.. sort by your price range

Get a second, bigger 7200rpm hdd. You'll fill up that 150 quickly

Here is another option for your build. The 9800GX2 is a fantastic card for a build for someone who doesn't want an SLI or Crossfire setup. It is currently NVIDIA's top performing card and comes awfully close to the HD 4870 X2 while being almost half the price. I'm not sure what your maximum budget is, but if you're able to afford it, this is a pretty powerful combo if you push that Q6600 to atleast 3.0GHz. Otherwise, if you're not comfortable with overclocking, I'd say drop the second GTX 260 and bump the Q6600 to maybe the Q9550. If $1500 is too much, drop one of the GTX 260s and maybe the velociraptor.

The 9800GX2 is hard to find, and out of stock the 260 GTX is the value point, with the other card being unavailable

This is the way that I would do it... You can bump the Vid Card back to the 280 GTX , and the PSU will handle it without an issue

The reason I reccomended the 800 watt is you mentioned the GX2 in your original post the power requirements are slightly more.

This Q9550 the multiplier is 8.5 and will overclock to 3.4 Ghz.. without overclocking the memory...very easily.

I would recommend TWO Optical Drives
