Remember one other oddity: It is triple channel memory, so three sticks of DDR3 @ 1333 (for now), a fourth stick drops it down to single channel. DDR3 may actually (or ultimately) give quite a performance boost, unlike DDR3 in present systems (non-X58 chipsets). Can't wait to hear the results (or complaints) from all the early adopters who are not me. 
Since people will have to upgrade their motherboard, CPU and memory rather than just a CPU, I am not expecting as rapid a buying pressure to drop the other Intel procs pricing... but it will happen sooner or sooner.
