    9850

I have a rig with a 9850 black and want to know what are the best air coolers for it? (overclocking)

From the latest results of Frosty's, the Therlaright Ultra 120 beat all by a few degress, but the thing is pricey. Realize though the results of those HSFs that the fan is on high. Both the Xigamatek 1283 and Sunbeam Core Contact, with Direct Touch Pipe technology can be had for really good bedguet prices.

Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120mm "Core Contact Freezer" CPU Cooler

I personally always end up getting the Xigmaek HD1283 because it's a bit higher underneath and doesn't get in the way of close memory slots. Allot of folks like the Zalman's , but IDK, the results just aren't there anymore, and they haven't gone down any. They do have a faithful following with OCing. I got a Xigmatek 120 on both the 9950BE and E8500 and it's doing a great  job. I'd posit getting that one.

    Penewah!

Yeah, i recommend the Xigmatek, because its good value. The Thermalright cools a couple degrees lower, but its like twice the price.

It also comes with a quiet fan and ive been able to get some great overclocks (3 GHZ to 4 GHZ Wolfdale)
