I recently purchased the Lian Li PC-A05B case. The design is flawless for my needs. However, I am having issues with overheating. As a solution to this I am looking into purchasing a replacement top plate. The T-70B has openings to host two 120mm fans and a front side USB/Audio  port. However,  I am having difficulty getting the proper information about it. I would like to know the following:

             1. Is the Lian Li Replacement Top Panel (T-71B or T-70B) compatible with the Lian Li PC-A05B Case?

2.If not, is there a Lian Li replacement top with duel 120mm fan holes and front side USB/Audio port available for the Lian Li PC-A05B?

             3. What are the dimensions of the T-71B and T-70B? If the part fits, I must equip. Regardless of whether it is listed as "compatible".

I can find no information to confirm nor deny compatibility of the T-70B/T-71B with my Lian Li PC-A05B case. I have reviewed the following products extensively: T-70A, T-70B, T-71A, T-71B

The Lian Li T-70B looks to be a perfect match. I would need to see more or better pictures and know the dimensions of it to be sure. I am unable to send these questions directly to the Lian Li manufacturing website as I do not have a URL... and they require that, plus a degree in Chinese algebra before a person can figure out how to contact them.

    Any advise is appreciated.

    Re: Lian Li PC-A05B - T-70B

Is everything else setup properly, like the heatsink with thermal compound, cables not blocking fans, the basics? One thing I noticed when I bought my Lian Li PC-201B is that the stock fans were very slow (also very quiet which was nice too). I ended up swapping them out for a set of Silverstone fans that push more than three times as much air as the stock Lian Li 120mm fan. The stock ones push around 40-50 cubic feet per minute if I remember right which isn't that much.

I would try just upgrading to a faster fan and see how that goes. If that doesn't cut it, then get a hole saw cause that will cut it! A four inch is good for 120mm fans, or was it three something? Cheers!

Not too crazy about the idea of chopping up my new case, lol. Can't say as I haven't been tempted though. Faster fans are defintily an option. I'm more intrested in finding a compatable replacement top as an upgrade before I go shopping for fans and or a hole saw :D

i'm not sure about your lian li case but on mine the top panel isn't all that removeable not atleast without drilling out the rivits on the case

even if you did accuire the top panel it may not even fit on your case it would be much simplier just to cut the holes for a 120mm on your current case.

all you need is a dremal and a CD  the circumference of a cd is the same as 120mm fan so use that as your template ...strip your case bare of all its hardware if you do want to attempt this mod a dremal is a high speed cutoff wheel and it throws off alot of sparks . so its a must that you strip all the hardware from the case first

accure 2 fan grills for the holes where the fans will go so you don't accident stick a finger in there  its a good mod ..and dose serve a purpose and will provide better cooling over the stock panel
