    General Usability Issues

    1) Allow us to report product reviews which don't make sense. frex - someone only rates a product "1 egg", but then says it's a great product and only lists a minor issue as a con. That review is useless. Perhaps this feature is already available... it seems fairly "duh" obvious, but I haven't come across it yet.

    2) Allow us to completely filter out reviews which have been marked unhelpful by at least 50% of those who selected yes or no. Or one better... how about NewEgg cleans those up for us?

    3) More power search fields and cross categorization. As an example: I recently went on a hunt for 1G PC2-5300 ECC, Fully Buffered Ram with Heat Spreaders. All of these features were required to keep this $3000+ plus workstation under warranty. It took me a very long time to find something which I was *sure* would have all of those features. "ECC",  "Fully Buffered", and "Heat Spreader" are not search options. To make it worse, the RAM I ended up needing was only listed in the "Server Memory" category. As I was purchasing RAM for a desktop workstation I only went to the "server" category as a last resort. A power search for all memory with feature data fields would have saved me (literally) about an hour of time.

    4) The "x out of y people found this review helpful" notice is not always visible on reviews for some reason. I have not bothered to figure out what causes it to become visible for me, but I wish I didn't have to do anything.

The "helpful" rating is very under-used already.  Building any further impediments will only decrease it's use.  The money for the manpower to "clean-up" the reviews is going to come out of the customer's pockets.  Socialism is dead & dying (like the hippies) & NewEgg is a for-profit venture.

In general, any improvement in the ability of a more-intelligent/more-practiced customer to search NewEgg is a good thing for both parties.  I'd like hot-links to pop-ups on certain technical terms & specifications so I can learn about aspects of hardware that are new to me, and might influence my decision-making.  Such as what "Active PFC" was.  I had to figure out that one by myself, with no hint from NewEgg at all.  Discovered it was critical to what I wanted, and basically determined exactly which product I was going to buy.

That has never happened to me, but I have noticed that some reviews get "closed" and you can't add your opinion as to whether it was helpful or not.  I've always wondered why this is.
