    Synchronyzing clock speeds

Would it be helpful for CPU, bus, memory, and maybe even GPU speeds to be synchronized so that the chips and bus speeds operate at complementary speeds. For instance, I have a CPU running at 3GHz internal clock with hypertransport of 1000MHz and RAM running at 800MHz. Since both the Hypertransport bus and the RAM bus are double pumped, wouldn't it be better for the RAM to be clocked at 1000MHz to complement the CPU bus?

    Re: Synchronyzing clock speeds

Running 1:1 ratio is very ideal situation, however not all configuration can achieve 1:1 cpu/ram fsb ratio.  Therefore, only can use trial and errors to configure your setup.  Ideally, you want performance and stability.  Rather it is or is not 1:1 cpu/ram ratio doesn't matter, many people doesn't run at 1:1 configuration anyway.

Yeah, if could see it happens in OC competition. But still only a few second. Ultimate status.

And now the performance of your system is pretty good I believe.

no biggie I think the performance is our priority. moreover, DDR2 800 is not bad  :---)
