Why Chrome Users Return to IE, Firefox?

i don't know why. i downloaded it and gave it a shot and 30 minutes later, i uninstalled it.

i didn't find any exciting features . surprisingly i fond more and more good features on IE 8 beta 2. and today Firefox has upgraded to 3.0.2. it works great. Opera and Safari are nice too but i don't wanna install 4 browsers in a pc. ROFL
a long way to go for Google.

Google Chrome collects way too much information that you put into your browser. People have had their financial information easy to find just because of the way Chrome stores data you put into it. When it first came out, the fine print basically said "we assume you have the right to read and write anything that is displayed or written into Google Chrome, and Google has the right to distribute that information to whoever they choose". They claim that it is/will be amended, but screw that.

I am not surprised. It seems Google Crome is just one big data mining tool for Google to use. Average users will not know how to turn off all the data collection options with it.

Re: Why Chrome Users Return to IE, Firefox?

The reason is quite simple for me. Firefox plus IE is good enough, and I'm already used to

using them. Don't want to change unless there are attractive new features~

There is NOTING good about Chrome. All it does is collect your personal data. Google pisses me off.

I've not personally tried it, but it seems to me that between the data-mining and the general over-hype, it's not surprising that people are dumping it en-masse. I think that because it was a Google product, everybody thought it would cure cancer, but upon finding out that it's *just* a browser, they all collectively went "meh."

Further proof that Google is going to be the next MS and do nothing but try to monopolize the industry and pump out garbage...

However, on the other hand. I have faith in MS. the Xbox 360, Windows 7, Windows Mobile 6.1. I am very fond of all of them (Well, Windows 7 we will see, but I like vista as is so its good)

You have given the reasons I would never even try Google Chrome. Google will sell you out in a  second.
