Does anyone know of a really good book on LDAP administration at a begginner to intermediate level? The documentation that comes with openLDAP is pretty useless, and I've scoured the internet for information as well, but only found tutorials that get you to the point where the server is running. Nothing on how to actually build up the directory to a usable state, e.g. adding users groups and machines, configuring permissions, and integration with LDAP client programs.
Bonus points if it also has some coverage of use-cases of technologies often deployed with LDAP, like Kerberos and Samba. Kerberos isn't particularly complex, and although I haven't worked with Samba yet, it looks simpler and definitely better documented than LDAP. So, coverage of these isn't critical, just nice to have.
Maybe this is an odd section to put this request in, but I wasn't really sure where to put it.
Thanks for any suggestions!
