Did you get a popup on your Acer Aspire 9410 notebook (Vista Home Premium), reading, "HotkeyApp has stopped working... Windows is collecting more information about the problem...?"
Perhaps this will help:
1. GOTO: http://global.acer.com/PRODUCTS/notebook/index.htm > Click on Support & Downloads drop-down menu > Downloads
2. On the link page under "Bios, Drivers, Firmware, Utilities & Applications / Select your location," enter your location (Pan America)... wait for link page to load.
3. On link page under tab "Drivers" - click "Notebook" icon.
4. On link page under tab "Product" - click Aspire 9410
5. On link page under tab "Download" - scroll-to-and-click Launch Manager 2.0.05 > click "Download Selected Item".... save to Desktop
6. Open desktop Launch Manager folder > double click on Setup Application icon > Continue > OK... NOTE: Launch Manager folder has a number of Setup files; if you're not sure, right click on icon > Properties and look for Application in Type of file description - that's the one you want.
7. Wait for install to finish and reboot.
If all goes as it should, HotkeyApp should function properly.
Apology for all the steps... I tried it several ways - the sequence above was the only one I could find that worked. If anyone can add-too - show a faster way or make corrections to this post - please do.
