    GPS Help

So I am looking for a GPS that has around a 7m accuracy and that has a voice prompt that is a "Turn right on 1st Ave" rather then a Turn right in .5 miles.

Its not that imperitive on the turn righ in .5 miles but greatly encouraged. Anyone got any tips on GPS?

    Re: GPS Help

    I'd probably get this NUVI

I have the more basic widescreen NUVI that doesn't speak street names, but I always have my GPS on mute, just my preference.

    Re: GPS Help

If you decide to go with Nuvi 200, I'd consider the widescreen version instead.

    Re: GPS Help

Ah thanks for the tip, now the real question is, the pilots vs the nuvi, the pilots have text to speach, what is the main advantage of a nuvi of the same price?

    Re: GPS Help

More compact, looks nicer, higher resolution and larger screen (for the widescreen).

    So to break it down...

    Pilot for the voice,

Nuvi for the large screen and quality of the screen?

    Re: GPS Help

It's ultimately up to you. For me it'd be Nuvi hands down, but as I've said before I always drive with the thing on mute.

    Re: GPS Help

I ended up getting the Nuvi 360 :P It has both text to speech, and its smaller like the Nuvi 200, its not a wide screen but I can live.
