iPod Nano 2Gb - transfer tunez(?)

So I got a free blk 2Gb iPod Nano and it has music on it.

Is there a way around iTunes (iTunes is a mess), so that I can just transfer over music to the nano, unplug, and go?

I tried this and it didn't seem to work.. . Tongue Tied

Try other 3rd party softwares.

But not as good as itune...
