just heard that Kaspersky will be launching 2009 version of AV and IS software end of this month, was thinking of giving it a try cos my Avira licence expiring already. Heard they got some virtual keyboard thing that Avira doesn't have, and also got higher detection rates. Anybody got any idea whether i should use Kaspersky?

Kaspersky's really good. I found it was a tad heavy of resources though, and it didnt play well with certain things.

Currently I put NOD32 on everything. I find its really effective and its detection is great. I can speak for their suite though , I've never used it.

Seems like kapersky 2009 taks lower resource, you can try on that.

By the way, I'm one pro of NOD32. But in fact it doesn't have enough ability to kill trojan virus. My machine just got infected one, up to date virus database, but still no alert. That makes me headache. At last, the virus was killed as soon as I finished installing kapersky.
