Pencils?  I am not sure what they are anymore.  I spend too much time staring at white screens with black text all over them.  Although it gets really fun when they are blue screens with white text.  BSOD! BSOD!

Pencils?  I still use'em all the time, it's just harder to erase the mistakes...expensive too.  Everytime time I "erase" one, the monitor stops working, and I have to buy a new one !  I tried erasing the whole page, but when I turn it back-on, the mistake is STILL THERE !  My monitor used make a lot of mistakes, but I turned-up the 'brightness' and now it's WAAAY smarter !

I so rarely use a pencil that when I do use one around the house that has been moved from house to house for the last 2 decades that the eraser is so dried up and when I go to erase something it tears the paper. I can't even erase mistakes on lumber while doing carpenter work around the house, so I just have to scribble through the old mark.

    Haha, good manROFL

I haven't used pencil for years, but I do remember those years when I indulged myself in drawing trying to forget the day and night fighting between my parents. That is a wonderful life experience, I enjoyed drawing so much then....  of course, I used many pensilsWink

    Re: My pencil is yellow...

In all honesty, I use a few of them every couple of weeks.  I pick up odd flooring installation jobs (tile and wood) and as surprising as it sounds, you still need a good pencil to mark what you have to cut.  The strange thing is that now Homey-Deep-Oh sells them in an odd shape (<=> no longer O).  Strange don't you think?

The flat ones are good.  They don't roll-away when you set them down.

    Yes

help me out here.....if "mechanical pencils" are used "by hand"......how did they get THAT name ?   "refillable pencil" would seem to be a more accurate name.....?

    hmmm....curious.

A pencil attachment. There's gotta be a market for that. As long as the buyers aren't yellow that is.
