Sirbriggs: I know exactly what you mean. But, damn it's just fun to listen to, like some sort of drug that sends you to Middle Earth but with more dragons.
"Middle Earth but with more dragons" ... that's just about the perfect way to put it, LoL! Yeah, their songs (or at least, the ones I've heard so far) are all so intense, there *always* seems to be some evil "master" reigning on high and a whole army of fierce warriors struggling to defeat him~~ LoL~ ^^ It's not quite right for the plot/feel any of the fantasy books/manga I read, but they do such a good job of conveying the feeling and story of their particular fantasy, that I just have to jump right in for the ride~ ^^

I saw Dragonforce play one time and it was one of the wildest, greatest shows I've ever seen. I don't know how they play that fast for so long it is unbelievable. They're so throwback with the wind blowing in their hair and everything it was awesome
You're so lucky! I've heard so much about their incredible live performances-- our super-fast guitarists shredding like there's no tomorrow, and everyone's beautiful, long hair blowing all over the place, I bet it's really exciting to watch. The light and smoke effects look pretty cool, too, from the few pics I've seen. Too bad they're not planning on coming to the US on their latest tour, huh? :(
DragonCrest fans, can you recommend some more of their songs to me? I've heard "Valley of the Damned," "Cry for Eternity," and "Through the Fire and Flames" and would love to hear more (and a greater variety of styles) from them. Any ballads or other must-hear songs you'd recommend?
Thank you!
Red
P.S. I am currently listening to "Kimi to Deau Tame Umareta" ("I was Born to Meet You") by Wao Youka and Hanafusa Mari. Best love song EVER. <3 <3 <3
