I have had great luck with them.

That one you put up had a bunch of negitive reviews lately, but it still has 92% of the people giving it 4 or more eggs.

Although personally I don't like glossy monitors, they have to much glare, and a reduced veiwing angle.

    lg and acer are nice.

lg is one of the few companies that manufactures the lcd's themselves.

    Re: Samsung what's up?

I hesitate to read a negative review if the "buyer" did not buy from newegg.

Did you see how many 1 eggs are not one of us?

I would guess that most buyers who are satified don't take the time to write a review.

But.... if I purchase defective memory or a motherboard that won't post, I am inclined to write a big time negative paragraph.

Oh yeah.... Acer or Samsung from experience, is a safe buy....I gave up on viewsonic, dead pixels you see

    Re: Samsung what's up?

I've been a long time fan of Samsung LCD's. I've tried just about every major brand that I can think of. I've never even received one with a bad pixel.

With other companies I have had some problems with weird resolutions. Even power saving issues (not coming out of sleep properly on an Acer model)... Samsung never seem to have these problems, in my experience at least. They keep it simple too, which I like.

    Re: Samsung what's up?

When you read those reviews, keep one word in mind: "lemon."

Due to mass production, it's not possible for every single solitary item to be 100% perfect. It's usually quite rare in a big, respectable company (like Samsung), but it happens to the best
