MSI X58 Platinum SLi or no SLi

Newegg certainly hasn't listed whether or not the x58 Platinum supports SLi, but the rest of the web is saying that it does. I was hoping somebody has taken the time to find out during the core i7 rush that I'm itching to be a part of.

my bfg 9800 GTX+ OC's aren't going to do me any good without knowing. Perhaps it would be part of a BIOS update from MSI?

any details would be appreciated by me and Newegg, as they will get my purchase if this can be resolved!

    New rig:

    Core i7 920; 3gb corsair x3 channel; MSI X58 Platinum;1TB Samsung Spinpoint F1; 700W XION PSU, 2x 9800GTX+OC

Looks like crossfire only. no SLI. (at least they don't say it does anywere)

    This EVGA supports it though.

is there a reason newegg's msi x58 wouldn't when a few other sites selling the board do advertise it?

There is, as noted on MSI's website a x58 platinum and a x58 platinum SLI.  I don't know any retailers with the sli version though.
