    S2927A2NRF-E - What RAM?

I just bought two of these boards and I've managed to put in the CPU, HD, etc

    The ram

    Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 FB-DIMM ECC Fully Buffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Server Memory - Retail

Does not fit in the slot. The RAM specs match those of the motherboard...

Anyone know what exact ram this board takes?

    Jon

that ram should work. Can you give us a direct link to the ram you purchased.

The ram doesn't physically fit in the slot. The knob on the slot doesn't line up with that on the stick, either way I flip it..

The Opteron mobo you specified wants Registered ECC, not Fully Buffered FBDIMM...
