Advantages of DDR2 versus DDR3 for

GigabyteGA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard or GigabyteGA-EP45T-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard?  Can someone help me understand this?  Only reason why I see to go with DDR3 is for investment protection.

    Thanks,

    Tim

Stick with DDR2. RAM speed really doesn't matter...it's how much RAM you have in there

stay with ddr2 memory or you can buy X58 motherboard and Intel core i7 processor I think that platform should take advantage of DDR3 mem.
