Enyu:Could anyone recommend a cheap, stylish, mid ATX case? . . . . it only had one SATA power connector, and I'll have two SATA devices . . . . So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a nice, cheap case with a PSU. Preferably a case with lights. I'm a sucker for lights, but not red ones. I hate red lights.
40 with or without a power supply
4 with a power supply, but they are not cheap. As you can see 36 above are without a power supply.
This is with a power search, using your requested eSATA port, mid tower range.
Sorry I did not answer your question the last time...and now here it is one month later. Frankly for the price you would be better buying a good power supply which rarely come with a case. Cheap case + good power supply.
As for two eSATA ports, best of luck. It is rare to find even one eSATA port on a case (and I am hoping USB3 will supplant it). But remember many motherboards come with an eSATA port on their rear I/O panel. Unless you need both devices plugged into the front for convenience sake this should suffice.
Second option: Many motherboard manufacturers and third party companies provide expansion slot connectors, including eSATA connectors that plug into the motherboard's SATA plugs. But this is still the back of the case.
Some card readers or controller panels will also feature an eSATA port and they can be put into a empty 3.5" or 5.25" external bay. Combined with a case that gives you a front port that would give you your two front ports. [plus the one that is in the back.]
Freedom's the Answer.
