I looked at one of the systems at work today.   When I logged in, it said that the security log was full.  Logging was enabled for "successful" events.  What I saw was that in addition to logging users who had logged in...it also logged a number of "anonymous logins". 

I almost got sick....but there's got to be an explanation.   What generates an "anonymous login"?

This machine is not exposed to the internet and does not host a web site.  I wished I would have saved the log...but was in a hurry to get it back up.

Has to do with My Network Places and updating that list.
